Tom Ford's A Single Man has its world premiere tonight at the Venice Film Festival!
Ford told Reuters he's "...terrified because in a way it's the most personal thing I've ever done and it's the thing that is the most expressive of who I am."
Not to worry, Tom.
The Times of London says A Single Man is an impressive debut, "a thing of heart-stopping beauty...[it] looks like a Wallpaper magazine photo shoot styled by Douglas Sirk." And several reviewers give lead actor Colin Firth a good shot at Best Actor when the awards are handed out tomorrow in Venice.
A Single Man is adapted from the novel by Christopher Isherwood and stars Firth, Julianne Moore, Matthew Goode and Nicholas Hoult.
WWD also talked to Tom and has the story from the fashion angle.
